- Is there a minimum order size?
No there is no minimum order size, you can order as little or as much from Vorrei as you wish!
Questions about payment
- Is it safe to make credit card payments from this site?
Your payment will be processed through Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments provide the most up to date payment technology for fast, secure online payments.
Questions about refunds and returns
- What happens if I need to return something to Vorrei?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your goods you may return your order within 7 days from the receipt of the goods. Simply return the products in their original condition and packaging and we will exchange the item/s or provide a refund with 30 days of our receipt of the goods. Postage is non-refundable.
We do recommend that you return any products to us by recorded delivery and that you have sufficient insurance to cover the value of the product returned. If the product fails to be returned to us we cannot refund and payment made.
Although we take great care when packing and shipping your goods, should you receive a product which you consider to be damaged, please contact us by email or telephone and we will arrange a replacement or refund. We will require a photo of the damaged product. If the damage to the product is visible on delivery, please sign for the products as ‘Damaged on receipt’.
Questions about delivery
- When will I receive my order?
If you place your order before 1pm (Monday-Friday) and select courier delivery, it will be dispatched on the same day for next day delivery. Orders placed after that time will normally be despatched the following day for delivery on the subsequent working day (if next day delivery). Orders placed on a Friday after 1pm or at the weekend are normally despatched on the following Monday. Orders of fresh items such as cheese and salame are not dispatched on a Friday.
Orders received on the day before a Bank/Public Holiday will be dispatched on the following working day for delivery on the subsequent working day.
All courier deliveries are made between 07.30 and 17.30 Monday to Friday by DPD.
Please note that any dates quoted for delivery are intended to be an estimate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in the delivery of products however incurred.
- How much do you charge for delivery?
For orders to UK mainland we offer three main delivery options:
1) Standard delivery with Royal Mail (3-5 days) £3.99
2) Next day courier delivery with DPD £7.50
3) Free next day courier delivery with DPD when you spend over £80.00
Additional delivery choices & charges
Before 10.30am delivery to mainland UK is £11.50
We can arrange delivery on a Saturday for £14.50
Next day delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands is £12.50 and 48 hour delivery to Northern Ireland £12.50.
For the Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands next day delivery is £12.50.
Larger or heavier than average orders may also be subject to non-standard delivery charges.
Please note, all delivery charges stated here refer to consumers only. For Trade customers, please contact us directly for transport costs.
- Do you deliver to Europe?
We normally do deliver to Europe, however at the present time (March 2021), European deliveries have been suspended due to issues caused by Brexit. We are working to resolve these.
- Which company will deliver my order?
Your order will be normally be sent out to you (or your recipient) using DPD.
Standard 3-5 day delivery will be sent with Royal Mail.
- Can you deliver to a work or neighbour’s address?
You can arrange delivery to your workplace or to a neighbour if it's more convenient. It is not however possible to give multiple alternatives for the delivery address.
You must provide a telephone number for the delivery address and please note that we can’t accept responsibility for addresses which are provided incorrectly.
- Will you confirm my delivery?
We will send you an email to let you know that your order has been despatched.
- Do I need to be in to sign for my delivery?
Our courier deliveries do normally require a signature, however if you cannot be in to receive delivery, please fill in the 'Leave safe instructions' box when you place your order with details of where the courier can leave your parcel (ideally with a specific neighbour) and this will be passed on to the driver. If you have ordered fresh cheese from us, please make sure that you will be there to receive the order, or please leave instructions as to where the package can be left until you get home.
- I live quite near to you, can I pick up my order?
You are very welcome to collect your goods from us but you still need to order in advance. Please call us in the office on 01799 615069 to arrange to pick up your order.
